Ladies, what is going on next to my body?

I had a yeast infection late February this year, and I treated it. There be some symptoms still, for a while, so I went to the doctor and it turns out I had bacterical vaginosis. When I have this "disease", it was sort of painful to own sex, same with the yeast infection. I took a 5 day treatment for the germs, and just over 2 weeks ago it finished. Then I was on my time of year for a week, so no sex for 2 weeks. But now that I am sexually active again, I distinguish that it is still somewhat painful to have sex. You'd deduce that the 2 week break (and the medicine) would kind of heal things, right? So, I don't know if I still enjoy it... it's just painful, that's adjectives. My doctor thought it could be lack of lubrication, but that doesn't seem to be the shield.
What could be wrong with me? Help?!

Hormone level contained by birth control pills...?

This pain could be an indication of a condition call vulvodynia (pain of the external genital area) but this is just an example only. One of the symptoms of vulvodyia can be discomfort during or after sex (have met several women it has happened to as far as the symptoms).

Ask your doctor going on for also a disease called endometriosis to see if this is a possibility (another example only). One of the symptoms of this disease can be painful sex or after sex for some women.
