How long do you usually have to skulk to get an appointment next to a gynecologist?

If I call to create an appointment today for an annual exam, how long will I have to continue? When I was 18 (6 years ago) I tried to produce an appointment with a gynecologist contained by town and the EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist told me it would be at least 6 months beforehand I could get surrounded by. I told her I had a possible infection, but wasn't sure, and she told me to receive some Monistat and promptly hung up on me. (Yeah I'm still mad something like that.. I'm hoping all doctor's office aren't that rude). Anyway, will I really have to hang around 6 months, or was that only just the idiot doctor I tried the first time?

Call different doctors. You should always explain to them the justification for your visit. You can also turn to a clinic where appointments are unnecessary. A passable wait to be see for an annual exam is about 2 weeks if the clinic is completely popular or busy. If it is anything that needs urgent attention, they will usually work you contained by. Doctors have appointments for a steady flow of patients. It won't destroy them to squeeze you in!

Do you own a family doctor? Ask him or her to refer you to a gynecologist. It may be faster, but from what I read, you may still own to wait. I don't know which city you live within.

I had impossible to tell apart thing develop to me last year! The receptionist be SO rude. I had to skulk a month. Then i showed up 5min late and i have to re-schedule for another month. You shouldn't wait 6months thats ridiculous. Some relatives need pap smears every 6mo. Don't loaf that long. Don't let them treat you resembling some promiscuous teenager.
