Nuvaring users?

I started using nuvaring in may after 5 years of no birth control (i was married at that time and not trying to prevent pregnancy but enjoy since separated) My periods have been irregular for several months past i started the ring so my doc told me that the first period would probably be heavier since i have a thicker lining to shed due to the irregularity. Well that first spell started on June 4th and hasn't stopped! it was outstandingly heavy for the first 3 weeks and the doc put me on provera to try and stop it. It washed-out up a little but still hasn't stopped. Has anyone else have this problem with nuvaring? will it quit? I considered necessary birth control i guess being on your term for over a month is considered good birth control huh? lol

Depo will make it worse. I be on depo and I bled for 6 months straight, and am still bleeding to this very year. You need to tell to your ob/gyn about a better birth control explicitly right for your body, maybe a lower dose is better for you. But Depo be a nightmare for me, plus the 30 lbs weight gain. My doctor be going to put me on nuvaring to stop thing bleeding but i will never dance on birth control again. Just try and find a different birth control to even out your hormones so you can quit bleeding in order to prevent anemia.

My clit have a cut in the hood is adjectives right to put a skin cream on at?

I dont know why they even made birth control if i thad so many side effects di you?

I enjoy very fruitless menstural cramp.. help!?

I am using the nuvaring. I dont hold any problem at all beside it, but I came onto it directly from 5 years on the pill. Your situation sounds serious and I would be concerned. Go rear legs to your doctor and get something else, or dont use anything for a while (at lowest till you are back to normal). And a high dose of hormones is what will lighten/lesson your period. I own only hear really bad things in the order of depo and had thought they even stopped reccommending it.
I dont suggest the nuvaring is the culprit, but something else might help. Definately see your ob-gyn again and stop the depo.
Good luck!
