Natural remedies for depression cause by birth control pills?

I've been on Triphasil for almost a year now, and while it's an 100% influential birth control, I have experienced some cargo gain and depression. The weight gain is not so much (about 10 lbs) and I don't mind it too much... but the depression can be a problem sometimes. I've tried vitamin B-complex (50) dream therapy, and while it does help a moment or two bit, I feel flushed and confused if I take it surrounded by the morning, and if I take it then during the day, I take nightmares.

So I've been told that I don`t know I should try St. John's Wort, 5 HTP, or Omega 3. What should I try and in what dosage? I'm 25, give or take a few 110 lbs, and 5'3".

(Please no "talk to a doctor" answers, my doctor tried to hand over me antidepressants and after I turned them down, he recommended the vitamin B therapy... so I'm trying here first beforehand giving him another call! Thanks!)

How to school my peers on eating nourishing rather than not at adjectives? Please help!?

DON'T use St Johns Wort while on birth control pills. It interacts and make the BC pills less potent.

Why not ask your doctor for a different type of pill. Tell him the weight bothers you, or newly change doctor to someone more geared up to listen.

Stop using birth control pills first. Then read this--
