This may sound similar to a very stupid press, but I'm just wondering, if you're too poor to afford food and shelter, how can you afford napkins and tampons? What do you do in that skin? Just let yourself bleed adjectives over your clothe? Ewww...that souned kinda gross...anyways if anyone knows, please sustain!

Lol!! Honey, what do you suppose even the "more fortunate" women used beforehand throwing everything into landfill became adjectives the rage?!? Rags. Blood does purify out you know. ;-) Take a look at these - and before you step "ewww" again, in the western world only women from relatively high socio-economic background use these!

Tampons have not be around forever. Women used to use pieces of toweling or other clean yard goods remnants. Anything absorbent. My guess is this is probably still done contained by third world countries.

People live in section of the world where nearby isn't a store on every corner and there be a time before tampons. People made do and brand name do. Hopefully you'll never be in that position until your elder and wiser.
