Hey. I am 17. I have other used pads during period. I am a college going student so I stay outside home for like 7-8 hours. Sometimes I catch worried about staining and stuff. Should I use tampons? Will it be safe and sound? What do you prefer to use? Will it be safe if I don't tuning it for 7-8 hours?

Okay honey, Tampons are completely undamaging. Don't believe all that "toxic shock" crap... a moment ago be sure to change them when they are soiled. I'm 46 years aged and have used them adjectives my life. If your have a very unhealthy flow you will want to use the super, or super + Tampon. I wouldn't go any longer than 8 hours up to that time changing. I other change until that time bed and in the morning first item, and once or twice durring the day. If you hold any worries, wear a small mini pad next to the tampon the first few times you try it. Just be sure to get the tampon completely within you. Good luck!

Im 17 also. I prefer tampons, I dont have to verbs about stains, plus not as messy!You shouldn't leave a tampon surrounded by for that long, there is a risk of toxic shock syndrome. If you bestow a pad on for that long it will start to smell.

I lived through the whole "toxic shock" entry. When I see the warnings for toxic shock on the tampons, I appropriate it very seriously. I solitary use tampons for a couple of hours at a time.Are there any other women out nearby who have a unyielding time reaching orgasm?

No dont maintain the tampon in that long, you could obtain an infection. Just wear dark sweat pant, and wear a pad. If you procure a chance a moment ago change it inbetween classes. obedient luck!i'm only 13... so yea, I dont know adjectives that much except that if you wear a tampon for too long bacteria will build up on it and cancause some humane of infection or disease to go into your body... thats why i use pad... and also the fact that tampons are mortified
cosidering you have to changeover tampons every 2-3 hours probably not. stayfree makes a really dutiful over night wipe that i can wear at school for 8 hours next to no problems at all
Tampons. I they keep me cleaner. I other wear liners lately in satchel.
due to toxic shock syndrome,clots etc i would continue using pad ther are always panty liner you can use when you know your period is almost coming .stick next to pads.i hold seen abundant complications as a nurse with the use of tampons, including toxic shock syndrome,infections and believe it or not a female had to come into the er after two days of have tried to pick it out after the string broke.not funny.she was exceptionally sick because she was too flushed to tell anyone and feel stupid to go to her doctor.
tampons all the bearing man! serioulsy, i tried pads and i didnt ending more than 3 days, talk in the order of uncomfortable. at smallest try tampons a few times, i garentee if you put them in right that you will love them and wonder how you ever get along wearing pads.

I used to use pads adjectives the time, but I started using tampons. I prefer the tampons because they don't have the odor that pad do, and you almost forget that you even have one surrounded by. Don't go 7-8 hours short changing them though, I usually progress about 5-6 hours at the most. Good luck.No dont hang on to the tampon in that long, you could win an infection. Just wear dark panty and wear a wad. try to change after 3/4 hrs. u hold in your purse & u can switch in bathroom.

tampons are alot more coftrable!! they come in diff absorbencys.. yea im sure it will be ok... i would try tampax pearL!! buy the multipack they are awsome!! :) when im at academy i always wear tampons and own never recieved a leak!! honest luck
