Mefemanic Acid (also agreed as Ponstel) is an anti-inflammatory but it is very correct for helping cramps. I've been using it bad and on since I was introduced to it in 1997.

I am also on the pill and I own had no problems beside the two medications when it comes to usefulness of the birth control pills.

You should be ok, but check with your dr as very well to see what they say.
