I have be on the depo shot for 3 years - yes 3 years and in those three years, I own steadily gained over 30 pounds that despite diet and exercise, hasn't come stale.

I don't know that the depo shot is the main point, but I feel wholeheartedly that it have been a through factor!

I would NOT recommend starting these shots unless in attendance are medical reasons beyond birth control to do so. They own a very roomy impact on a womans physical and mental state and is something I would not have done - if I have it to do over again.
