IUD and pregnancy?

My girlfriend has the mirena IUD she have had it for 2 to 3 months. Last month she get her period on the 22nd of the month this month she is not have her period we purely took a pregnacy test and it be negative but she still hasnt gotten her spell and we are freaking out that she might be preganant. Please if you have experianced anything close to this. Please help us.. Is it regular to miss a period and not be preganant? We are so scarded and please anything would comfort..

Hi! I've had alike IUD for almost a year. Sometimes, in the birth, I would bleed a little everyday for a couple of months, consequently nothing at adjectives for months. Now, it's been in the region of 4-5 months and I thing I lately had an "almost" time. (I used to bleed very strapping for 7 days straight w/ lots of cramping...TMI, I know! Now, it's so light, no cramps and with the sole purpose sometimes it was near and sometimes not for a week.)

Bottom line, don't verbs. Less than 1% of the people usig Minera IUDs procure prego every year. It's very rare. They enunciate for the first year, especially the first 6 months, bleeding can be very erratic, after stop for years. I'm sure she's not pregnant. Hope that helps!

Yea it's middle-of-the-road.. just dally a week or two and then embezzle another one... or if you are that worried call her doctor..

Will I be pregnant?

Yes it's everyday to miss a period and not be pregnant. I missed mine once..it be weird. Everything completed up ok. It happends.

Staring across the room?

Did she not read the pamphlet that came near it? It clearly says that within 90% of the women that use it they do not get a length anymore. I havent had one within almost a year. Stop freakin out shes fine!

I enjoy done alot of research on birth control I wanted to receive the IUD myself but wasn't sure if that would work for me or not quite frankly I similar to not having a interval and I don't plan on having anymore children so I am on the depo and I hold been on it for roughly speaking 7yrs now and I enjoy had a interval the only down side is that you own to get a shot every three months but the source I didn't get the IUD be cause near was no guarantee that I wouldn't not enjoy a period but predictable not I wouldn't worry so much more or less it, it most likey is a side effect that comes with the IUD you usually can read up something like these kinda of thing on the Internet I hope I be some help
