Dense breasts? And if so, what does that mean?

Mine told me I have fibro cystic breasts, which I ruminate would be the same item. It's been several years since she said that and I haven't have any problems.

Here's a sentence from the Mayo Clinic website. "Dense breasts contain more glands and ligaments — and less chubby." It said it's harder to see lumps on a mammogram of a dense breast so if you find a lump the doctor might suggest further evaluation.

It's nothing to verbs about and it shouldn't motivation you any problems but like adjectives women, do self exams and get your twelve-monthly exam.

Radiologists describe a mammogram as have a dense pattern if they see more white than gray on the mammogram. The rationale this is important is that lumps are more difficult to see on a dense (white) mammogram. Here at the Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center, we routinely supplement dense mammograms beside a physical examination and an ultrasound to take home up for the lowered sensitivity of the mammogram in the overnight case of the dense breast.
