Depo Provera (contraceptive injection)?

Hi everyone,
Thanks to those of you who answered my last interview on this topic - I need to know something else though.

As I am not have another shot of the depo provera contraception, when my shot runs out on 9th July should I start using another form of contraception i.e. the pill?

The reason I ask this is because several people voice that the depo stays in your system for months after you hold had it and it take a while for a woman to re-gain her fertility so I don't want to be 'clogging up' my body with more contraceptives if the depo is still going to be in my system.

it took 6 months for me to have a term ,but then i be on depo for 2 years,so it probably had a build up effect . if youve simply had it once or twice i wouldnt transport any chances unless you dont mind person pregnant ,but would prefer not to be .

I used Depo for a year & after I get off it I be put on a low dose hormone pill. It eases your body subsidise to normal & afterwards after a few months of that you can go on regular strength B.C.

if u own been have the injection longers then 5 yrs after yes it will stay in yr system a long time. but if u havent consequently u shud still use another form of contraception, i did the same and started taking the pill

Hi i had one depro within oct 2004 i decided to try for another toddler aqnd didnt hav another took 16 months for period to return and i am presently 6 weeks preg. if u plan to have toddler in the practical future dont filch any contraceptive if u r wary of getting preg my sis have the implant contained by her arm put in after depro and is fine.

I freshly use condoms since I came sour it a year ago. I didn't feel out of danger with them at the start but I can't use the pill or mini pill. It took 5 months for period to start coming back and that be a bit hellish. They are not regular yet but they are consistent. Use condoms anyway if you want to be protected as although it stays surrounded by your system for a few months, it can happen and have happened that nation have become pregnant exceptionally soon.
