Should I find the HPV shot?

I went to the doctor's a few days ago and my doctor said I entail The HPV shot. Does it hurt? Where do you get the shot at? PLease HELP!!

I only just got my 3rd shot for it over memorial daylight weekend. I am needle phobic. The first time i be so scared they be afraid I was going to pass by out, the second I cried, and the third I watched the nurse and didn't cry at adjectives. The shot go in you upper arm similar to most other shots. It is a series of 3 shots. I think you achieve the first one then hang about like 6 months and acquire the second and then dawdle two months and get the third(I think). Yes, it hurts a bit a short time ago like any other shot..but its over after a second. It hurts smaller amount than the menengitis shot (I think I spelled that wrong) if you hold gotten it..

I'm assuming it feel like any other shot. If your doctor suggested it, be in motion for it. Unless you have some drive to doubt your doctor's credibility. If that's the case, find a untried doctor, duh.

I actually enjoy HPV and I've only have sex with one guy. He give it to me the first time. You should definitely get hold of it, it's small enough to exceed through a condom, but the condom does help. My OB/GYN told me that in the region of 80% of women have it. Get the vaccine. There's three shots that you seize over a period of months. It sorta stings a touch, but nothing to cry over, and you win it in your arm. Goodluck!

Why am I so jealous of my boyfriend's daughters?

Had it be out when I was a younger woman, I'd own gotten it in a heartbeat, especially knowing what I know now. HPV is incredibly adjectives; most of us have at most minuscule one strain. Luckily most strains are harmless, but a few of them are responsible for upwards of 70% of adjectives cervical cancer cases. I have be through the cycle of abnormal Paps, colposcopies and LEEP procedures twice presently. I'm not living in fear of cancer because my Paps hold never been worse than mild dysplasia, but it's be an unpleasant ordeal and there is clearly the risk that it could progress. If this vaccine had be available 15 years ago I might have avoided adjectives this.
