Smear Test?
Has anyone ever had sex contained by the few days before a Smear Test. I am due one tomorrow and hold put a ban on it til after it is done. This seem to excite my hubby instead of keeping him away. I don't use condoms incase someone suggests that.

Having sex prior to a smear test is undeniably fine. The lab people who look at the cell under the micrsoscope can probably give an account if you have have recent intercourse as there will be other cell types present. However, this does not affect the care of the smear test nor the result obtain. I take smear test and I do not enquire as to when the woman later had sex. Hope this help!

I believe it's probably best if you do abstain for a few days earlier (think I read that somewhere) although I can't say what happen if you don't.You shouldn't have sex 48 hours since the test otherwise they won't do it, or if they do the results may not be conclusive and you'll merely have to do the try-out again anyway.

ive have sex a day until that time smear test! i wasnt expecting to enjoy one had doctor appointment for contreception and he realised i hadnt had a smear theory test so nurse was free at that time and i go in at hand not prepared aaarrrgghh! results came support fine, but it is a bit embarassing though when the clamp comes bk out covered in it. sorry to be grosethere is no reason for you not to hold sex before a smear interview, alot of what is said is an old wives narrative. sometimes it is actually better to own sex as it is a natural lubricant, as our distress of the test can kind us dry, it is the cells from the inside layer they are taking not anything else, and the trial will not be affected by this.

I have sex on the morning my lat smear test, we didn't use condom, and theory test was OK.It is better to refrain from "activities" previously your smear, as this can then conflict near the sample they pilfer, and if it is inconclusive you will be recalled for it to be repeated.
