I've heard of pregnant women have an ultrasound and also having a sonogram. What's the difference between an ultrasound and a sonogram, or are they impossible to tell apart thing?

They are both interchangeable termanology for matching thing , and contained by some parts of the world the procedure is even termed "echograms" , or " Echography". The possession "sonogram" specifically, in poular culture,have become assocoiated with fetal ultrasound over the years ; though it really doesn't differ procedurally.
