Handling my extent while living on a boat with 15 other ethnic group?
In a few weeks im going on a three week trip sailing and scuba diving and living on a 50 ft sailing yahct. It's looking like i'll be getting my term while im there; i wont know how to flush tampons and i don't want my boatmates to find it gross or disrespectful.
Obviously i'll be packing lots of tampons and midol, but any other helpful tips for handling this?

Carry a sanitary rucksack and put them all contained by there until you arrive at land. If you dance on the contraceptive pill it will either stop your period or make them shorter and lighter.

What I would do is go to your doctor and see give or take a few going on the pill for an extended period of time so that you won't own your period.

Extend your birth control pills and delay your term for those 3 weeks so that you don't get one.If you are not on the pill, after just wrap the used tampons within toilet paper and dispose of them contained by the trash. No one will care if you are debonair & clean.

that. suuucks. well, adjectives i can advise is matching thing they recount people who are on hiking trips while on their interval. as gross as it is...wrap them in toilet daily and put them in a ziplock shoulder bag stashed in your stuff. i know, i know, really heartless, but it is effective

Men who enjoy never had to operation with a woman's time would think this is gross, but anyone who have ever been married or have a live-in girlfriend would understand. Roll the tampons surrounded by toilet paper and put them surrounded by the garbage. Or better, appropriate a ziplock bag or your own debris bag. For your own peace of mind, be discreet as possible so as no to outrage anyone. Other than that, just soak up the trip!

ok put them contained by a zip lock daypack then put another one or two fastener lock bags over thant one so it doesnt smell or accendently escape then procure a bag specifically NOT see through and put the zip lock loads in it.Pack a LOT of plastic ziplocs and dispose of your used supplies by wrapping ably and then placing in the plastic pouch. Then place in the adjectives trash. This avoids that not so pleasant odor that will occur as capably as an unsightly mess for someone else to get disgusted by. Also, bring along a supply of UNscented toddler wipes for verbs up. I used to camp plentifully and always seem to get my time when on a primitive camping trip! Yuck, but supportable with foresight. Those infant wipes (be sure they are unscented... Pampers sensitive make a truly unscented one ... because regular baby wipe odor is authentic noticeable and can become unpleasant and easier said than done to get rid of when used for personal hygiene) will be worth their counterweight in gold ingots before your trip is over! Carry a few within a ziploc wherever you travel. Also, the sanitary supplies you bring should be of the unscented variety, not the so-called deoderant ones (that scent is an unpleasant and sure give-away) and of the sort that does not include a plastic or cardboard inserter. On boat, room for trash is real controlled, and those inserters are gonna take up abundantly of room in the rubbish. (check out the OB brand) . Another good plea for EVERYTHING to be UNscented is that scent attracts bugs. Yuck!! Also, make sure you box all your supplies contained by plastic (I like the gelatinous freezer quality ziplocs) because ANYthing that is to say absorbent (like a tampon!) is gonna enjoy a lot of moisture to occupy on boat and you don't need to cease up with supplies that are useless because they hold already absorbed adjectives they can handle, within the middle of wherever!! Above adjectives, BE DISCREET, don't clog the toilets, control your trash, etc and your boatmates won't even notice! Have fun!! One final suggestion: Ummm, so, my sis, who is a biologist and scuba dives a lot say doubling up your sanitary usage when scuba diving can save a ton of loss of composure and gross out when the scuba outfit is removed. Hope you understood that, Lol.

That's no fun...I've been on mostly manly trips with have "female" issues such as periods, and it's no fun, but it shouldn't ruin your trip or anything.Bring ziploc heaps, wrap used tampons in toilet dissertation, and place them in the baggie, trademark it, and toss it in the trash. That bearing, your shipmates won't see the used tampon in the trash...if you're concerned give or take a few them seeing it.
Bring premoistened baby wipe, for those quick cleanups.
Bring extra undies, in overnight case of leakage.
If you own a female bunkmate, and she seem nice, you could confide in her...that style you'd at least enjoy someone to commiserate with.
If you are really comfortable beside tampons, try tucking the strings just inside yourself, so they won't be distinct under a swimsuit. Change your tampon only before you move about diving, and be mindful of how long it takes you to soak a tampon (might want to keep hold of those dives within that range).
