The mini pill?

I, also am not a admirer of birth control pills. I've been on and sour since I was 13 for endo, and finally have enough. My body doesn't feel artificial hormones very all right at all..but your doc will be capable of work with you in the region of whats best for your body ( I recomend avoiding things that STOP your period). And yes there are privacy regulations, such as HIPPA that prevents him from anyone told anything about your medication. If you don't want to share him, then he doesn't hold to know, just expect to recompense for it on your own, and pharmacies aren't legally supposed to release that helpful of info either, although it happen all of the time. And if he does find out, a short time ago tell him you are taking it to regulate your interval or something like that, that should fall the conversation failry quickly. Don't be afraid to ask your doctor alot of question!

I heard that if you stick an rime cube in your vagina it will capture tighter?

there's privacy. Although you should be able to buy them over the counter.

When you first start taking birth control (the pill) when is it affective?

I would consult a doctor for the information you are seeking, as far a your father finding out. Simply call in the doctor's office, and when the prescribe you the Pills retribution for them out of you pocket instead of letting the insurance cover them. the alternative would be to visit your local clinic where on earth it should be free to receive your yearly and request the Pill.

Personal Question for Moms?

Im not sure give or take a few the medical benefits/risks, but as far as dad finding out... I was put on birth control when I be 18 to control cramping and to regulate periods.

There are oodles reasons to be on birth control, and pregnancy prevention is basically one of them. I don't think the pill will be reported as such on the insurance, but if he finds out, basically explain that the pill has frequent uses for women.

For women only: any tips?

If you are over 18 next he wouldn't know you were on them. He would know you go to the doctor though as insurance will send him a statement of how much they compensated for your visit. Costs are low. Usually something like $5-$20 per month depending on your insurance and the brand of pills. Your doctor will explain the risks but they are rare and minor, resembling most prescription drugs.

Anyone brought their implants seperate to their surgery?

Cost vary based on insurance coverage. Ask your doctor to prescribe a pill next to a generic equivalent available, and ask for a generic version when you permeate the prescription. This offers significant hoard with impossible to tell apart effectiveness. You can bestow your insurance company a call to ask the charge on generic birth control pills, but I'd find it importantly unusual if it were any more than $10-15 a month.

As long as you earnings for the doctor's visit to return with the prescription plus the pills yourself, your dad should not be able to find out; I'd individually call the insurance company to clear sure he is not notified/billed for services.

If you don't want to chance it, find that you can't remain confidential and/or are low-income plenty, Planned Parenthood offers sexual robustness and contraceptives low-cost, and in heaps states has funding to provide services free to qualified women.

Can anyone recommend any perfect supportive bras that are comfortable-my large wilting breasts need assistance (36DDD)?

Being your18yrs old you can dance to a health department that offer free birth control and exams. That way your dad wouldn't find out just about it. The ones in CA are call family planning. If you look in your phone book at abortions subsequent to them will be places that offer those services.

They also give the shot there as powerfully. You only win the shot 4 times year. Taking a pill on a daily justification can be tricky to remember if you foget things easily. You also wouldn't own to hide or be worried if your dad saw your birth control baggage.

Good luck

Women, can you help me?

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND BIRTH CONTORL.

i be on it for 2 and a half years, and by the expire of the 2 and a half years my period thinned out to nothing.
merely say you want kids latter on in go.. It takes your body ages to take back into rhythm. I hold known race to take up to 8 months to even carry a period backbone.
I have also be told and have gone through PCOS.

Alot of problems near being on the pill. If the simply reason you are worried give or take a few the pill is because you dont want to get preggers, Well theres with the sole purpose 30 days out of a year that you can concieve.

Do alot of reaserch before even concidering birth control.
