I take medication for my thyroid, is it still OK to filch birth control,?

It WILL NOT cause the birth control less forceful. Been on thyroid medication and birth control for years! Antibiotics will lessen the effect of birth control. If you should be but antibiotics talk to your doctor or pharmacist more or less the effectiveness of the birth control.

Sometimes on birthcontrol you enjoy to have your thyroid med on the same wavelength. So next time you walk have them recheck your TSH. This can also facilitate prevent weight gain...because save taking enough syntheroid your metabolism will run low and u can gain bulk.

I have taken thyroid pills for 6 years and birth control pills as all right. I have hear that birth control pills can require you to need more thyroid hormone, so you clearly want to monitor your levels the first few months on the pill.
Also if you obtain off of the pill, hold your levels checked.
