I just have a hysterectomy and I am wanting to know when I can take a tub?

had it on the 5th..I have stitches within places I won't mention...I hate showers...I hold been exceedingly compliant with Dr. information but I really need a long soak surrounded by the tub...I love my bubbles,oils,perfume and powders..do you think it would be OK..at smallest once?

No oil, soaps or any other additives and half an hour contained by the bath should be fine. A little brackish in the dampen would be a good theory though. Just pat down to dry and do not rub.

best have a shower if you touch you need adjectives over body cleansing =the Dr .will tell you when you can start have baths again=you surely don't want to get infection where on earth the stitches are

baths are fine as long as you don't use any additives. people tend to shy away from baths but if you have your surgery on the 5th, things should be healed ample to have a nice soak. melt soaks will help the uplifting process as well.if you are really concerned nearly when you are able to do so, i would a short time ago call the doc's department and ask a nurse, they will most likely be capable of give you an answer right away.
