Spotting 8 days after "withdrawal period" and after a long residence use of Yasmin?

Hello, I've been taking Yasmin since 2006 March. I do not experience any significant side effect except moody and vaginal dryness. They don't bother me much. I enjoy never had spotting while I'm taking Yasmin for a year and three months. It's be working very all right for me.

I started my latest pills on Sat (26th May, 2007), a light of day earlier than the planned re-start day. This be not the first time I re-start my pack a day precipitate. It's been no problem for me contained by the past.

This morning when I woke up, I found that at hand are some very hurricane lantern brown spots on my underwear. When I wiped my vagina after a pee, I still saw some unbelievably very lighting brown stains on the toilet paper. I'm frightened because spotting/bleeding have never happened earlier since I took the pills.

A few side notes: I filch my pills extremely regularly. I take my pills everyday at 12p.m. I know because I set the alarm beside my cell phone. I've NEVER missed any pills since I started taking Yasmin; and my withdrawal period arrived almost on the same afternoon every month.

I'm very worried about these pale brown spotting. What has happen?

Thank you in mortgage for your time and help!!

Yasmin’s website say this about spotting.

“A adjectives side effect is vaginal bleeding between periods. You may consideration some spotting or experience breakthrough bleeding. Usually, this clears up within the first few months, but it can transpire later on. This type of bleeding is usually acting and not serious.”

So spotting later on similar to this is not unheard of. Still I seriously recommend you let your GYN know in the region of this, since this is something new after using Yasmin so long. There are other conditions that can make happen spotting and would need a GYN to examine you to rule out. Some examples of other cause: polyps (uterine or cervical), infection (vaginal, cervical, uterine, bladder), cancer. There can be spotting after sex, still it indicates there is something going on that requirements to be checked (unless he was extremely rough) and usually the spotting occurs ahead of time than 2 days later.
