There are many reason why it would be painful, firstly, the "flowing cure" ones include; being constipated or the other mode (i have IBS & when its unpromising, i get dull pain aswell), menstrual cycle & inadequate lubrication. Try eliminate these first, if you have no pleasure with those, it might be worth considering that she may own a condition called Endometriosis or another gynae condition approaching ovarian cysts. I had a similar problem yrs ago, when i get checked by my doctor, it turned out that i had an ovarian cyst and the low penetration be agravating it. Tell her to go to the doctor, better sheltered than sorry right?!
