I hold a uterine fibroid. I haven't decided what to do just about it. Advice?
Answers:
When I be 24 I found that I had lot of tumors inside my uterus as big as the size of 16 weeks pregnancy. They didn't lead to any pain but they be causing seriously of bleeding during my period.
Doctors though of embolization but near were so heaps that only remedy for me was to lift mayomactomy. before the operation, my doctor advise me to take 4 doses of luprone to dampen the size of the fibroids.
I took mayomactomy and there be 28 fibroids that doctors could remove! There were lot more tiny ones inside the uterus doctors could not remove. They grew again lately in 6 months.
If you enjoy 1 fiboid, then its unforced to treat my laparoscopy of embolization. But if you have multiple, within is no option other after mayomactomy.
I own fibroids also, so I can understand. You may want to try NATURAL progesterone and shifting your diet to see if it has any effect.

My wife has cancer again in equal breast after ten years ,only a different type?
I have fibroid tumors im my uterus for years, and finally at my annual exam 10 years ago, my doctor asked what i wanted to do. I also be having problems near my bladder. My option be to have a hysterectomy nad bladder elevate, and I have never feel better. The only regret is that I hadnt had it done earlier and suffered with adjectives the pain. I come back to work after 3 weeks and own felt great ever since have it done. I would highly reccommend have this done. You WILL NOT regret it.
Since uterine fibroids might carrying a pregnancy to term difficult, I would recommend that you try to resolve this condition with any medication or surgery (myomectomy?). Find out how you can get the best results next to the least drastic approach.
My friend have good results near medication alone.
I would steer away from a hysterectom unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. That is crucial surgery and can have some serious and unwanted side effects, and if you ever do want a infant...

I have a hx of fibroids and polyps and own had them removed via hysteroscopy/D&C, they be very problematic for me. It's not invasive surgery, conspicuously not like a hysterectomy is. It's an outpx procedure, you progress home the same daylight, there is some cramping and bleeding afterwards, but nil major.I currently own another fibroid, will have an ultrasound on the 2nd of May to check on it, as it's be giving me problems, I have some main cramping at times b/c of it. I'll probably have the surgery again to remove it if needed.
If you don't own children and plan to become pg in the adjectives, your best bet is to have the fibroid removed, one and only b/c it can cause problems surrounded by pgcy.
I wish you adjectives the best!

What are your symptoms? Do you plan to own kids? How big are they? How many and where on earth are they located? These are all question to know before making a outcome. Most women I know opt for the myomectomy and have have no issues with it. But profusely of this depends on the answers to the questions above. If you don't want to hold any more children, then hysterectomy might trademark the most sense because is the only agency to ensure they won't grow back. If you do want kids though, most doctors will transmit you the most conservative thing to do is a myomectomy (not satisfactory data on embolization yet).
If you are apprehensive give or take a few surgery, "keep looking." Get a second evaluation even if you like your doctor. A second view might help you to touch better about it. Keep asking your doctor question until you have exhausted them. Also, cause sure your doctor has a great deal of experience in treating fibroids.
