What should I do about my 14 yo who have vaginal discharge?
My 14 yo whom I am very close near has come to me just this minute about have a bad smelling discharge. I am unshakable she is not sexually active! Really! I hold explained to her it is normal for women to enjoy occasional discharge, more so around ovulation, but she's concerned it is not normal discharge. It is possible she could hold a yeast or bacterial infection, so I feel she should be see by a doctor.
My question is: Who should I bring her to see? Is her pediatrician really qualified to answer this question, or should I run her to my GYN? She is so young...I don't want to traumatize her beside a full fledged pelvic exam.
Any experience with this or counsel? Thanks!

Osteoporosis - Calcium, can you help?
Take her to a GYN. She's not too babyish. And you don't have to be sexually busy to see one. A 5 year old can win a yeast infection! When you make her appointment form sure that they know that she isn't active! You won't traumatize her if you confer to her about it first. Tell her that it's ordinary for women of all ages to bring back a pelvic exam. Now is as a good time as any to attain her into the habit of seeing a GYN. Also, explain to her what happen before she go so that she's prepared mentally.
Take her to the OB Gyno- she may have some sort of infection.
What are the cause of flank pain?
Take her to a GYN, they will be meek just explain what will appear. The sooner you take her within, the better.Vagina Discomfort (itching and burning of vulva) + shoulder pain = a serious problem?
I reckon it's quite middle-of-the-road at that age, if i remember correctly. Maybe mention it to your GP but i don't think it's a do for concern.Take her to an OBGYN. As embarrassing as it may be, she may enjoy tampon stuck up in at hand.
Does your period not come for a touch while when a girl is wet??
i would thieve to the gyn bc they are specialized in that nouns..its hopefully nothing desperateWhy do i feel so depressed because of my length?
When I was her age, my mom found a pediatrician who be a teen age specialist. They should not do pelvic exams until she is sexually active, but she should see a doctor. Check near your medical group or HMO.She should be see by a GYN..Tell her what the exam entails so she won't be traumatized..If you brand name a big deal out of it she will too..Just convey her these yearly visit save lives and your not taking any probability with her enthusiasm..Even if she isn't sexually active girls still entail to see a GYN..good luck. I recommend a feminine GYN..It's not so embarrassing from a feminine..
Help with losing counterbalance?
Not a pediatrician at her age. When you call to set up a regular doctor, that doctor can manipulate the situation. And explain to the doctor you don't want her to have a pelvic exam, they will work near you, and if they don't get a exotic doctor.
When I was younger I have a yeast infection and I was probably in the region of 10 years old. They did an exam, they be very kind so it may be a benefit to your daughter that they do an exam, no Pap smear but a small exam.
Good Luck.
at 14 if she has have a period she should see an OBGYN. It's not approaching she's a baby anymore. Allot of girls her age ARE have sex so you need to purloin her go to the OBGYN and be checked out.
I don't effort how close you are with your daughter don't imagine she will tell you everything! She is a young girl!! Look at all the stuff other girl and boys her age are posting out here. It's better to be risk-free than sorry just capture her to the doctor. Maybe the reason she is so concerned after you told her it's run of the mill is because she's not telling you something. It's just about the age she should first be seen by a OBGYN anyway.
IF she's be on any meds it could just be a yeast infection from the meds only again I'd make sure.
she requests to grow up sometime...definitely steal her to the gyn. after you make the appointment explain to her what will develop and tell her every woman have to get these exams and nought will hurt etc etc. try to prepare her for it and let her know you will be near ( if she wants you to be ). well brought-up luck.
First of adjectives, 14 yr. olds don't have discharge (foul smelling at that) if they're not have sex. Please don't be a naive mother. Take your daughter to her pediatrician, report to the doctor what's going on & they will let you know if they can do the pap smear or they may refer you to a GYN. My mom did this beside me when I was 16 & stayed out adjectives night beside my boyfriend. I didn't have an STD though. I didn't own my experience with that until I be 18. Children are having sex at younger ages immediately. Your daughter is playing you about she's not sexually alive.
I have Polycystic Ovaries (PCOS) What category of diet is best for me?
i advise u purloin her to a gyn.if they say she have to take the exam consequently u prepare for this by explaining her and telling her roughly the procedure the exam entail
so that she won't make a big concord out of it Just tell her these once a year visits hide away lives and your not taking any chances near her life
