I liked the pills better. I can't pinch either anymore b/c I'm at big risk for clots.

I had the Mirena IUD for 1 year after my son be born and had it removed after an infection it give me. We are having a frozen time trying to conceive now and the IUD may be chunk of the cause.
However, most women don't hold this problem w/ the IUD, I guess I was one of the few unlucky ones. The IUD be very convenient, as far as not have to remember to take a pill go.

I like the IUD because I don't hold to think around it every day. When I be on the pill I would often forget. Both made me gain bulk though.

I had an IUD for 5 months. In that time, I bled more days than not, my period were MISERABLE (cramping so severe it would double me over and pinch my breath away) and I was bleeding through a super tampon every hour or so for 5-7 days a month. Sex be unbearable (when I *could* enjoy sex...not big on sex & bleeding), and I finally went to the hospital because I be hemorrhaging. Come to find out, I had contracted PID beside the insertion (happens about 30% of the time), and the inflammation the infection cause, also caused the IUD to puncture my uterus a moment ago under my right fallopian tube. The scarring not here by the surgery and the infection and the perforation is so severe, the tube is completely blocked.
If someone told me I had to own another IUD (thankfully I'm no longer a candidate!), I'd opt to be taken out and shot on the spot.

Give me the pill ANY daytime!
