You did not say what a discharge you hold, was it bloody? Is it still coming out from your rectum (this is a nice respectable word to use LOL)? Do not bound to such scary conclusions that its cancer but in general there should not be any discharge from your rectum and if this continues you really MUST budge see a doctor, do not play with your condition, missing classes is much less dodgy than neglecting your strength.
