Colposcopy?

I had a smear audition and my results showed i had some big-hearted of virus on my cervix,i rang the nurse to ask her roughly what i would have to do and what would appear in more detail and she said they would do a biopsy and later more then credible burn the virus off!! Has anyone else ever have this and will i be in twinge?

i have have 3 colposcopies i had an injection down below until that time they did any kind of treatment,it be a little discomfited ,but i think that be more due to the fact that i be tense,it wasn't scratchy ,i had cell removed.
