ATTENTION! answer my question plz!! im serious!!?
It depends on the type. If you anticipate hormonal (i.e., pill, patch, shot, implant, ring), next no. The way the method works is by tricking your body into believing its already pregnant, thereby preventing ovulation.if it is used EXACTLY as it is supposed to be used.
If you're using any other method (i.e., barrier) afterwards yes you'll still ovulate. This is because these methods do nothing to your body's chemicals to prevent pregnancy; they merely block the hall of sperm into the the uterine cavity (hopefully).
Hormonal birth control ideally stops ovulation completely while still allowing you to menstruate, but sometimes you can still ovulate (this is when pregnancy happens).
You don't ovulate because the pill make your body think that you are pregnant so it doesn't drop an egg to draw from fertilized.
Did i start my period!? i found blood contained by my underwear but i didnt find anymore?
No. Most birth control pills prevent you from ovulating, even while you're taking the sugar pills at the end of the pack. You may still ovulate if you filch progestin- only pills, though. Those work by making your uterine linining really skinny and mucousy, making it hard for an egg to slip.
