Anyone enjoy a "non-medical" hysterectomy?

Do doctors perform hysterectomies when near isn't a DIRE medical need for one?

I'm 30 years infirm. VERY painful period since age 13, had a laporoscopy done within 1997 to check for endometriosis, but came put money on negative. Also hold been diagnosed w/HPV (one of the types that cause cervial cancer) and have have several biopsies to remove mild displaysia over the past 10 years as economically. I will not be having children and my partner does not want children any. I have be thinking about a hysterectomy for years...but only just have contracted to seriously inquire about it. Anyone know of a doctor that will do this? If insurance doesn't money for it, I'm willing to clear for it out of pocket.

When were tampons/sanitary napkins invented?

Most doctors will NOT achieve a non-required hysterectomy. And requirements are pretty stringent: SEVERE endometriosis, cancer, organ failure, hemorrhage, etc.

This is because the ligaments that hold the uterus surrounded by place also hold the rest of your pelvic organs in their proper places.

When a hysterectomy is perform, the organs around your uterus can collapse into the pocket created by the removal of your uterus, causing a integral new group of problems (bladder dead loss, bowel incontinence, organ protrusion, just to first name a few).

Painful and heavy period can sometimes be treated with a technique call ablation. It is worth looking into. Also many birth control pills can and do relieve in the cut of cramping and bleeding. I would strongly recommend researching other options up to that time taking this drastic step.

My peroid hasnt came on contained by a month after i loss weight and i hold to pee alot..what is wrong with me?

I have an elected hysterectomy for endometriosis, heavy period, fibroids and ovarian cysts. I did not have cancer; I be over 40 so my child bearing days be over.

At 30 with no children it may it more difficult to find a doctor that will do hysterectomy.

I desire you luck at putting an end to the rough periods. I remember them.
