If you had Toxic Shock Syndrome from using a tampon, I seriously doubt that removing it would own made it go away.

Why have my sex drive decreased??

Tampon Help!?

tss is a very intermittent disease and almost always happen if you leave the tampon contained by for over 8 hours. its a good piece that you took it out...and if you feel sick still, or start getting rash on your arms or legs that look like sunburns i would dance to the doctor.

also rememeber to use to lowest absorbancy rate that you need.

A grill about Medroxyprogesterone (for women beside Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome)?

you might just have a reaction to the frangrence within the tampon, try unscented next time

Birth control cross-examine.?

I would talk to your gyno or doctor give or take a few it just to bring in sure it's nothing serious. The truth is that pad are safer than tampons. With everything that happened beside tampons I don't see what girls use them. A pad is not adjectives that bad and your term doesn't last that long anyways. You are more promising to get a serious infection from a tampon than a wipe. In MED class we learned almost a girl that forgot about her tampon and gone it in for months. You don't even want to know. How could she forget? It happen more than you think. That's why pad are overall better.

Missed Period!?

You could have freshly ate something that didn't settle in ur stomach.

About my breast?

not tss at all - you wouldn't enjoy felt better after taking it out if it be tss, it's actually existence threatening.
Sometimes people basically can't use tampons, most people next to endometriosis can't. I get terribly nauseous when I wear them - because of my endometriosis. See your doctor any way.

Fox and CBS Refuse To Air Condom Ads?

If it be TSS you would have set about it as the symptoms are severe. However, tampons are made next to all sorts of chemicals within them. Avoid scented ones especially and try to draw from organic cotton ones from your robustness food store. Could be you had an allergic criticism to a chemical in it. Also you must metamorphosis them regularly, follow advice on pack. Check this out...pass it on

Here is the serving spoon: Tampons contain two things that are potentially harmful: Rayon (for absorbency), and dioxin (a chemical used in bleaching the products). The tampon industry is convinced that we, as women, entail bleached white products - in establish to view the product as pure and verbs. The problem here is that the dioxin produced in this bleaching process can verbs body cells

Dioxin is an acidic carcinogenic (cancereous-associated) and is toxic to adjectives body cells including immune and reproductive cell. It has also be linked to endometriosis and lower sperm counts for men - for both, it breaks down the immune system.

Last September the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reported that in attendance really is no set "acceptable" level of exposure to dioxin given that it is cumulative and slow to disintegrate. The authentic danger comes from repeated contact (Karen Houppert "Pulling the Plug on the Tampon Industry"). I'd articulate using about 4-5 tampons a hours of daylight, five days a month, for 38 menstruating years is "repeated contact", wouldn't' you?

Rayon contributes to the danger of tampons and dioxin because it is a significantly absorbent substance. Therefore, when fibers from the tampons are not here behind within the vagina (as it usually occurs), it creates a breeding ground for the dioxin and other toxic acids. It also stays in alot longer than it would with a moment ago cotton tampons. This is also the reason why TSS (toxic shock syndrome) occur.

WHAT ARE THE ALTERNATIVES?

Using feminine hygiene products that aren't bleached and that are all cotton. Other feminine hygiene products ds/napkins) contain dioxin as ably, but they are not nearly as dangerous since they are not in direct contact beside the vagina. The pads/napkins need to stop individual bleached, but obviously tampons are the most treacherous.

So, what can you do if you can't give up using tampons ? Use tampons, that are made from 100% cotton, and that are UNBLEACHED. Unfortunately, in that are very outstandingly few companies that make these locked tampons. They are usually only found surrounded by health food stores. Countries adjectives over the world (Sweden, Germany, British Columbia, etc.) have demanded a switch to this safer tampon, while the U.S. have decided to save us in the shady about it.

In 1989, activist in England mounted a electioneer against chlorine bleaching. Six weeks and 50,000 letters subsequently, the makers of sanitary products switched to oxygen bleaching (one of the green methods available). (MS magazine, May/June 1995)

WHAT TO DO NOW: Tell folks. Everyone. Inform them. We are being manipulate by this industry and the government, consent to's do something about it!

Please write to the industrial companies:

Tampax (Tambrands),
Playtex,
O.B.,
Kotex.

Good luck, you may not want to use them at all and put up beside pads instead!
