Normal near an IUD?

I got my IUD within during my period finishing week. I've been have clearish discharge wth blood in it. Is that regular? I have some cramping, not awful though. Shoulld I be concerned or is this normal? Its the copper IUD not the hormone one.

This type of impulse is typical for either type of IUD, but is more adjectives with the copper-only. And you may enjoy more bleed days that not as well as more cramping for up to six months.

If however, the bleeding become heavy (one super tampon or wipe every 1-2 hours), or you develop a fever or severe (doubled-over) cramping, later seek medical attention. It could indicate an infection (PID) or uterine perforation.
