Miscarriage?

Just before Christmas I be having adjectives the symptoms of being pregnant, but after taking several test (all negative) I assumed I wasn't. During my suspected pregnancy I stopped taking Cerazette to ensure it wouldn't harm the possible child, but I started taking them again about a month ago. I started to 'surface' pregnant again but assumed it was my tablets, and so I didn't retest myself. For the finishing 2 weeks I have be bleeding constantly, and its been heavier the ending few days. Today I have be experiencing some cramping and when changing my tampon I notice something that looked like a long string of tissue, mostly approaching clotted blood, but with a pinkish-grey cog at the end. I've never see something like it back, and I'm not sure what to think of it. Is in attendance a chance it could be tissue from a miscarriage? As I've never have one before I don't really know what a miscarriage looks close to. Thankyou for any help :)
