I had a transvaginal ultrasound done today for irregular menses. It feel a little humiliated (just a lot of pressure feeling) at first, but next I started getting really sharp pains on the left side. What could this be? Everyone I talk to said that I shouldn't have experianced any dull pain. Please let me know if you own any suggestions about this.

i had duplicate ultrasound done to check for cysts. i really dont think that the misery is in any course related to the ultrasound. since the test is painless and have no side effects i think its only a coincedence.

alternatively, the pain could be a cyst, which be the cause of my distress on the righthand side. either approach, the results will show if there is anything irregular on the disappeared side. (the cysts can be the reason for irregular periods)
