Abmnomal pap smear test? What are the cause?

I had a toddler about 3 months ago. I go for my postpartum check up and my pap smear came vertebrae abnormal. Before I have my baby, the paps come back usual. Now I have to turn for a colposcopy. I had a c-section birth. I don't know how I could own an abnormal pap smear. I haven't have intercourse unprotected. I have no clue. Also I enjoy insurance but I herd that it's expensive to hold a colposcopy and the lab tests. How much is it past the insurance company pays? Thank you!

Just because you haven't only just had unprotected sexual actitivity what in the region of the past?
You didn't mention what the problem is but my guess is atypical cell. The colposcopy is probably considered an office procedure, it would be best to send for the office and specifically ask how much is this service, and will you bill insurance for it, and do I own to have my member of the fees before the service will be provided, or can I be paid payment arrangements? In appendix I would contact my insurance carrier and see if this is a covered service and if my physician is the one they want to do this. Some insurance carrier will have a preferred provider and want you to use their department. The most important item is that you deal near this health issue, you necessitate and want to be around for your child so see to it that you are taken care of soon. Good luck to you

2 out of the 3 times I was prenant, my pap come back impressive. Pregnancy does that. Get another test surrounded by a few months and see the non pregnancy results.
