Info on Premature Ovarian Failure?
I'm a 20 year old who only just found out that I have premature ovarian fiasco. Does anyone have any info on this? I read that with the sole purpose 8% of women with pof are competent to conceive... can anyone confirm this? It's so devastating, but if I wanted to return with pregnant in the adjectives, I would want to use my own eggs and not a donors.
I also have auto-immune problems beside my thyroid, is there any counsel for how to deal beside all of this? I freshly read that soy is bad for relatives with thyroiditis, and I'm a lacto-vegetarian so I naturally try to munch through a lot of soy... should I quit?
And my doctor mentioned taking testosterone as very well as estrogen if I start HRT... does anyone have experience next to taking testosterone replacement therapy as a womanly? Thanks so much.
