How long are your period supposed to go for?

I'd ask the doctor again. This doesn't give the impression of being right.

Serious answer plz?

Since your doctor didn't find fibroid tumors or any other problem, I can't answer your question.
If it keep on I would see another doctor. We know it isn't normal to do that.

Should I be worried?

if u enjoy heath issues you shouldn't be on this site you should be within a hospital.

Advice on period?

chill.... you are only on THE seemingly perpetual journey certain as THE menstrual nightmare from and into HELL! it will ONLY last for 45 years. or .the better member of your life, making you miserable and bloated and cramped and by the time you hit pre menopause and are hemorrhaging thru 10 Depends undergarments each day for at LEAST 7 days a month for a year or 2, you will have prayed at LEAST 10 times a daytime that your uterus shrivels up and dies as quickly as possible.... but if you be MY daughter I would waste no time surrounded by assisting you in getting another opinion of preferably a woman gynecologist

How plentiful tampons should i use if i am (13-17 age),change mine just about 2-3 hours on the heaver days?

I believe you have an irregular menstruation. The menstrual cycle isnt like peas in a pod for everybody. Some have creamy periods and enjoy trouble holding a tampon in for over an hour, others have bedside light.

Bleeding may be something to worry just about if it occurs between period, after intercourse, or if you are over age 50, especially if you have already gone through menopause. The risk of cancer increases near age.

Often, if you are bleeding from the rectum or there is blood surrounded by your urine, you may think the blood is coming from the vagina. To know for consistent, insert a tampon into the vagina to confirm that it's the source of your bleeding.

Keep a record of your menstrual cycles, including when menstruation begin and ends, how much flow you have (count numbers of pad and tampons used, noting whether they are soaked), and any other symptoms you experience. Tampons should be changed at least possible twice a day to avoid infection.

Because aspirin may prolong bleeding, it should be avoided. Ibuprofen is usually more successful than aspirin for relieving menstrual cramps.

Bleeding in the middle of your cycle could connote different things. Some women bleed a little bit when they ovulate, and to be precise nothing to verbs about. Mid-cycle and post-sex bleeding could also indicate that your cervix is forlorn due to some kind of STD similar to chlamydia or gonorrhea - or even cervical cancer.

Ekk i need pantyliners?

Jessica G give a good answer.

I might append a couple of things.

First, if you're young, you should know that this is probably nil serious. Chances are, you are having some mid-cycle bleeding/irregular bleeding that is to say clotting in your vagina before it make it all the track out.

You've probably already had a physician look inside your vagina and at your cervix, since you said you've have normal pap smears. If i.e. the case, in that's not much need for verbs.

If I were your doctor, I'd probably get hold of an ultrasound of your pelvis, just to be sure that everything be normal (and it probably is), and later reassure you that there's nil to worry in the order of.

When does ovulation start for women?

It scares me that most women & doctors know so little around their own reproductive cycles... Yeesh. If the bleeding is about 14 days after the first day of your final period, you are probably simply ovulating. A small amount of blood is perfectly middle-of-the-road when you ovulate. The blood should be preceded by some cervical fluid that is egg whitey and stretchy. Please check out the book , Taking Charge of Your Fertility, it is an amazing book that can explain profusely. It also has some horror stories in the order of the ignorance of doctors about women's condition...

This is all null and negated if you are on the pill. It could be break-through bleeding if you are on the pill.
