If you have, you would be able to see them, any on the comb or on your head when conscientiously parting your pelt.
It's not always nits that basis head scratch though. My son has tremendously short hair and scratch his head as a quirk, moreso when he's stressed or sweaty! Or, it could be a reaction to doesn`t matter what products you use on your hair.

if your hair is fine next sometimes the comb doesnt pick them up,thicken your hair near conditioner and use the comb they cant cling to hair after,but it could just be a dry itchy scalp,if you own dandruff then t gel is a fitting remedy,i hope you havent got them nearby bloody awful my kids have em adjectives the time!!
