Loesterin-24 question and one semi-related.?
And one semi-related question...can a pediatrician perscribe it to a forgiving or will they have to shift to the ob/gyn?
Answers:
I used LoEstrin 1.5/30 for nearly 10 years and like it very much. I lately switched to YAZ (with a 24 day dosing programme similar to LoEstrin 24) and like it even better, because my period have gone from 10 days (yes ON the pill!), to 2 days of spotting. Side effects of LoEstrin be minimal for me, but that was after I tried nearly 2 dozen different formulations!
If your pediatrician decide that you need to be on the pill for menstrual nouns, then yes he/she can write the prescription; it desires only be written by an MD..it doesn't event what that doctor's specialty is.
