Wine and pregnancy...couple of question?

Is one glass of wine a light of day bad during a pregnancy? I'm not pregnant and don't plan on becoming pregnant for another couple of years. I'm also wondering if wine thins blood.

I know doctors in America narrate you not to drink anything while you are pregnant, but the doctors in Europe think otherwise. They speak that it is okay to drink a glass of red wine a morning while you are pregnant (but maybe that's why they are adjectives alcoholics over there...who knows)!

As far as wine thinning your blood, I found this (www.ctds.info/natthinners.htm... :

"One type of intuitive blood thinners are substances that block vitamin K. These include salicylates. The most well certain of these is aspirin, but many foods, such as preservatives and flavorings, also contain salicylates or aspirin similar to substances. Some individuals are known to be aspirin or salicylate sensitive. I'm one of those salicylate sensitive types, but I hold found that I can eat more salicylates as long as I guzzle a balanced amount of vitamin K foods, too. (Vitamin K plays an major role in the body's surrounded by blood clotting processes.)

Foods that are generally soaring in salicylates include copious spices, most fruit, especially dried fruits, nuts, and also some flavorings and preservatives.

Herbs and spices high contained by salicylates include:

* Curry powder
* Cayenne pepper
* Ginger
* Paprika
* Thyme
* Cinnamon
* Dill
* Oregano
* Turmeric
* Licorice
* Peppermint

In Ayurvedic (traditional Indian medicine) many of the above spices are specified as "warming spices". I mull over this is because by thinning the blood they increase a person's blood circulation, which surrounded by turn speeds up the metabolism and makes a character feel space heater.

My family be really cold one late evening at Disneyland, but as soon as we ate some churros we adjectives warmed up. We did not know why at the time, but then realized it be because the churros were dipped contained by sugar with cinnamon, a spice large in blood thinning compounds and agreed as a warming spice surrounded by Ayurvedic medicine.

One of my children have had trouble next to night sweats, so we put him on a diet that among other change limited the amount of salicylates he consumed. That seem to help him stay much cooler at dark.

Fruits high surrounded by salicylates include

* Raisins
* Prunes
* Cherries
* Cranberries
* Blueberries
* Grapes
* Strawberries
* Tangerines
* Oranges

Other substance high within salicylates:

* Almonds
* Chewing gum
* Honey
* Peppermints
* Vinegar
* Wine
* Almonds
* Vinegar
* Cider

Though there are some exceptions, contained by general most meat, fish, dairy, grain and vegetable foods are not high contained by salicylates. Many types of fish do however have blood thinning properties due to their omega-3 fatty sour content, as noted below. "
