Hi I'm a womens health nurse and I attain asked this all the time. The generic are indistinguishable as the brand name, the generic in recent times costs the insurance company less and sometimes is make your co-pay lower. Like the Apri birth control is the same as desogen and Ortho-tricyclen is matching as Sprintec. It's kind of resembling when you go to the store and buy the "store brand" it costs smaller amount.
I asked duplicate question the other hours of daylight to a Pharmacy tech (my cousin) at our local Rite Aid. She said generic has impossible to tell apart medication as Brand name. My doctor wishes me to try Seasonique birth control to try to control my excessive bleeding. Seasonique is named that because you lone have 1 length per season. You take a blue pill for 90 or 91 days (can't remember). Then you filch a different colored one for 7 days, at which time you bleed. The medicine costs $ 179 for brand cross and $ 117 for generic and she told me the generic was a moment ago the same.
yeah, i be prescribed Ortho but got switched to Tri-nessa, the generic brand. be on it for 5 years, it regulated my period, i didn't win pregnant, had no serious side effects... although, i have my mood swings here and there. but it's indistinguishable thing. you're paying for the pet name, not the brand.
