I have see both. My first two children were deliver by a male and my end by a female. I preferred the feminine for OB care because she have children and could relate to my discomfort and labor experience. The doctor I have presently is a male and I love him! Just run with what make you comfortable!

I have be to both men and women gynocologists (more women than men) and I acutally like the one I am seeing in a minute, which is a man. I was never comfortable seeing a man but in attendance were some women I didn't close to either. My assessment, men seem more lenient not to hurt you. Women just stir in in attendance full-force lol. It seems class of hard to explain feminine problems to a man doctor, but they should know what is normal and what is not through adjectives their school and whatnot. The one I am have now is running test constantly to try and figure out what is wrong near me (besides PCOS and possibly endometriosis) and he is the first doctor to want to help me bring answers for my health issues. Sometimes it's not the femininity of the doctor, just the human being him/herself. The gender can sometimes subconsciencely (sp?) determine if you close to them or not. If there is something going on after don't let that make your feelings on them as a professional. I probably told you more than you required to know, since you asked just a simple feelings question, but a gynocologist can be a big ruling for a woman.
