I can't talk to my doc until tomorrow, but I be wondering, is this a lasting side effect? What did you or your doctor do to alleviate it?

The pill can end in a hormone imbalance- you're adding extra estrogen to your body and suppressing the progesterone functions. If you stop taking the pill, you could vastly well own long-term effects unless you get them corrected.

How do I know when I've finished going through menopause?

The birth control pill may or may not contribute to depression in women receiving such treatment. The extra boost of hormones that your body receive can sometimes cause an imblanace which can be difficult for your body to manipulate properly -- thus leading to several agreed side-effects, one of which may be a mild depressive state in some users. The complex the level of the progesterone component of the pill, the more feasible depressive symptoms are to worsen.

There are many different combination dosages of the pill available. If you're discomfited with the current medication you're taking, yak to your doctor seriously about trying out other option and what might be best for you.

As some one who was once on the pill, I can put in the picture you from first-hand experience that you may need to explore hormone-free or reduced-hormone treatments for your best condition. After suffering from mild depressive symptoms on two different types of birth control pills, I found the needle be an excellent alternative and highly reccommend it.
