Is there an actual medical common sense for this? Or just convenience? I be supposed to start BC but had my interval before I could obtain the perscription filled, and I don't want to own to wait till it starts again.

Most doctors do that to ensure that you are not pregnant when you start taking b/c. Also,if you start it on the first light of day of your period, you are protected against pregnancy the impressively first day you start taking the pill.
However, it is not dicey to start the pill at any other time (as long as you are sure that you are not pregnant). Just use a condom until you complete a full cycle of pills, because you might have ovulated back the pill had a accidental to regulate your hormones.
its just to get sure that you are not pregnant.
