Below are the Different types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and winding up of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection and you should see your doctor for the treatment

Can a yeast infection cure itself in need treatment?

I have have that a few months ago and it causes itching and white discharge. Then after that I tested again and have be totally find, no infection, but I still have thick white dsicharge. Some family are just that way. Smelly though? Bacterial vaginosis is supposedly hold a fishy smell, not a pleasant odor. Most likely not a yeast infection since those usually don't produce a sitnky smell. Bacterial vaginosis is the most popular vaginal infection of women. It isn't sexually transmitted, it can happen from irritation down at hand, soaps, detergents, anything. Good luck, you might want to have it checked if symptoms continue, because if it is BV, the one and only treatment is a 7 day treatment of antibiotics.

Could be a yeast infection, especially if you notice any itching along near the discharge. Yeast infections can be treated with over the counter remedies such as Monistat, or with one dose of the prescription Diflucan. If you try the Monistat and take no relief, I'd see a Dr. It may or may not be a yeast infection, but thats the easiest thing to treat like greased lightning with over the counter medication.
