I am so embarrassed/afraid to defecate around a sexual partner (even very long term partners) that I totally avoid the distraction, even to the point of making myself sick. I am not comfortable with the door closed, him in another room, or even beside his presence in the same household. It doesn't bother me when he go, but I still can't. I've even had partners comment on my "insufficiency of" that activity, and brush it off beside embarrassment. I am wondering how to get over this issue...it is greatly affecting my relationships and physical strength. HELP!

Answers:    I was completely the same. Would never travel with him in the house & even after nearly 3years living together i cause sure he stays down stairs when i have to go. Im not sure you really do attain over it... i hadnt been for days when one day i thought OMG i hold to go right now and i a short time ago did. He's still not allowed upstairs though... even for about 15mins after i enjoy been just incase lol.

Men dont verbs about the stuff we do. Try to remember that :).

You could try therapy. Normally I wouldn't recommend it for a acceptable fear, but when a phobia affects your life to the point where on earth your health and interpersonal relationships are strained, it really is a good theory.
