Which birth control pills for women who are prone to migraines?

I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for a year now. It works great for me, but during the third week (pills beside the highest hormones), I get migraines so regularly that it disrupts my daily lives. I used to take Alesse and it give me just as bad migraines, but more commonly (since it's monophasic).

If you had any experience with this, can you suggest which brand that is to say better for women who are prone to migraines?

or should I switch to another method of birth control pills? I was thinking of getting an IUD, but I heard that it's imprudent for women who has never gave birth formerly.

Please help! thanks!

Answers:    Also, consider an intrauterine device. I have one for five years, had never had a child earlier getting it, and once it was remove, I got pregnant inwardly two months. I loved it..
I have always have bad headaches and the pills made it worse! I started using the Nuva Ring and I LOVE it! I haven't feel headachey at all from it! I am on Desogen it is monophasic but I do have smaller amount frequent migraines.
See your doctor to discuss this, I think you might have to try something bar the pill.
