1) It only hurt for just about 1 second. After that first second I felt a small snap and it felt without a flaw fine (no pain). There was a very small amount of blood the subsequent day. It was not evident during the sex. It's different for everyone though. If you are comfortable with your vagina and know yourself down there relatively well it will make your first time much easier and more comfortable. Also, if you've ever fingered yourself or be fingered inside your vagina sex often does not hurt as much as the fingers have stretched the hymen.
