What age will a doctor allow a hysterectomy?
Answers: The problems are not because of your uterus its because of the hormones secreted bu the ovaries. So you do not need any intervention beside your uterus inculding D&C unless you have heavy period.
I do not think that you should go for it. If you c your GP he will propose SSRIs which are vastly effective and you will start noticing an enrichment within 3 weeks.
you can also take estrogen patch or cream if you can not take the pill.In few cases a Mirena coil can be effective.
Other treatments that you can do lacking seeing you GP is evening promise oil if you have breast discomfort & pain..
Well first of all within are several types of hysterectomies:
Complete or total. Removes the cervix as well as the uterus. (This is the most common type of hysterectomy.)
Partial or subtotal. Removes the upper cut of the uterus and leaves the cervix in place.
Radical. Removes the uterus, the cervix, the upper part of the vagina, and supporting tissues. (This is done contained by some cases of cancer.)
If you haven't reached menopause (when you haven't had a length for 12 months in a row), a hysterectomy will stop your monthly bleeding (periods). You also won't be able to grasp pregnant. And you may have menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness. If both ovaries are removed as well, you will suddenly enter menopause.
I regard you will be okay. My mother had a hysterectomy the day after I be born and she was 36. But if your really questioning what age your doctor will achieve this at I would consult them about it..
A D&C ma be the answer to your question over a hysterectomy. I have bad periods after have my children and had one done at the time of my tubal ligation, and all is better presently.
Hysterectomy's don't fix everything, including the 'emotional' up's and down's which are caused by your hormones. There are also health concerns next to having such a drastic surgery. Lastly, having a time of year every 24 days with 6 days of menstration isn't going to be enough for a doctor to recommend a surgery resembling the one you want.
You have plenty of options and plenty of avenues, look at those first. .
i asked my doctor for a hysterectomy, for one and the same reasons as you, when i was around 36 - they said no. i am going to ask again and see what they say next week - I'm 42 presently. I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be no again, because apart from it all being a painfull spend foolishly of time, there is no medical reason to enjoy one - bloody annoying ;(( when your health requires it. they don't do them for no reason any more. win on the shot it will stop your periods or at least its supposed to.
I am like age with similar issues but I have blemish tissue twisted around the back of my womb, which causes greatly of pain plus endometriosis.
My gynaecologist recommended having children consequently having a hysterectomy, he said this when I was 26 but my GP wouldn't agree beside it, however, the gynaecologist said he would do it whenever I wanted it done, as I have tried the pill, injections, implant etc.
I think it would depend on how many times you own presented to your GP with period issue, I have gone 27 times in 2 years plus trips to the hospital and outpatients.
If you can convince, if that is the right word, the GP and then a gynaecologist that your family is complete, you've tried every treatment under the sun and your sure of your result, they may put you on the waiting list but they may also want to run tests to see if nearby is any underlying cause which they may be able to treat for you.
I have a course of implants one every month for 6 months and they were great (sorry can't remember the name) and it give me great relief but could only stay on them 6 months at a time.
I know exactly how you touch so I wish you the best of luck.
