Hello ladies. I've just recently have my first Depo shot in mid-March and since then I've notice a persistant odor that's developed. I'm very big on personal hygiene, especially there, and I've other taken very good charge of myself. Actually, to be perfectly honest, it's not a bad odor: it's that "after sex" smell that would usually be at hand for a day or two and then disappear. But it seem like after the first time I had sex near my husband after Depo, the odor hasn't gone away. I douche regularly (just with water though because clinicians insist on against traditional douches) and clean her very ably in the shower, but it still lingers. Not extremely strongly; my husband doesn't even notice, but I do and it makes me perceive unclean. Have any of you been within a similar situation? How did you get rid of it? Are there any products or methods you'd recommend? Thank you~

First of adjectives, stop douching! Even if you are using "only water" you are doing two things -- one, you're washing away the called for bacteria your vagina needs to keep hold of away infection, and two, you're likely washing microbes back up into your body.

Normal odor is just that, mundane.
