A few months ago I had a surgery (gynocological-type stuff) and I confided in my best friend, who be really great about it and supportive. However, even months later, she seem to think it's funny to incorporate it into jokes and things approaching that. If it was something that happened surrounded by a movie, then yeah, maybe it would be funny. But it's me, and I don't find it funny. I'll relay ehr it isn't funny, and she'll 'apologize' but it really ticks me off!

If that still doesn't work, after I think she's not a true friend and you need to cut her out of your enthusiasm.
