i went to the doctor and im not sure if he took the urine test, but i took 3 home test that all came out gloomy.. when i went to the doc he gave me a pap and later told the nurse that he wants me to get a blood check.. Well, the nurse who took my blood told me that they usually only give blood prego test when you have a positive urine test.. so am i prego? afterwards the doctor scheduled me to go posterior in 2 weeks for results, when he will get the results contained by 2 days.. why so long for me to go back.. Anyone know just about the blood tests vs. the urine tests?

did u pee contained by a cup for him? if so he did the urine test, if not he couldnt possibly enjoy done it. he probably felt something when he did the pap and just go straight to the blood work.

It's protocol for a doctor to take a blood test. You hold suspicions and your doctor is making sure one way or another. It's accurate and you will know for sure. If you took 3 home tests and they be negative, more then plausible you aren't pregnant. Getting a wrong result with one is probable but not 3 unless it's just too soon to transmit. The blood test will let you know for sure. Most lab results are vertebrae to your doctor within a few days. If it were me, I would nickname every few days until they get them back. Most office will let you talk to the nurse and achieve the results.

It is possible you are pregnant.

Blood tests are a little more accurate than urine test. It is possible the hormones aren't concentrated enough to be detected by the urine test on the other hand. He probably wants to be sure. He may also be checking for hormone imbalances.

blood test for hcg only take in the order of 30 min to recieve the results if they run the test right away. don't know why it would take so long for them to consent to you know-but blood is a lot more accurate than urine in trialling for hcg.
