Transvaginal exams and another interview?
Now, I'm slated to have a transvaginal exam. Is it more painful that a pelvic/pap? And how long do they steal usually?
They're checking what's up with my apparently enlarged cervix. I'm so confused about this stuff. I'm not too contained by tune with my body. Sigh.
Answers: Transvaginal ultrasound? Much less bleeding. I've had a couple. Both times the tech handed me the verbs and told me to 'guide' it in, so you feel more within control of the situation. I was a virgin and it didn't hurt at all. The size will look intimidating, but it didn't inflict me any pain. They were taking a look at a massive ovarian cyst so it took a couple of minutes but it wasn't too bad. If they're just looking at your cervix it would seem to be like it would be shorter.
Good luck. The best thing you can do is try to relax. When you're tight that tightens everything up down there and makes it more throbbing..
I just had one today, and it hurted so bleak that the doctor couldn't even finish the exam. This procedure is really painful especially if you're still a virgin. I recommend to not do it, they won't do it if you can't tolerate it.
